The Erode Sengunthar Educational Trust started this college in the year 1996 for the upliftment of urban and rural youth. The Trust has been associated with various educational Institutions like Arts college, Polytechnics, Higher Secondary Schools, Matric Higher Secondary school etc.  

All these temple of learning owe their existence to Thiru. M. Balusamy, President, Vallal Thiru.P.S.Natarajan & Tmt. Vasantha Sudhanandhen, Vice-President, Thiru Er. R. Mohanraj, Correspondent and  Thiru.   S. Sivananthan, Secretary and other esteemed members of the Erode Sengunthar Educational Trust.
